This hotel offers great value for money. The prices were reasonable and we felt that we got a good deal for what we paid. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were friendly and always willing to help with any requests or queries. The basic amenities in the room were sufficient and we particularly enjoyed the nice balcony where we could relax and take in the surroundings. The rooms were always kept very clean, both inside and on the balcony. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and we especially liked the fresh fruits that were available.
All was satisfactory and met our expectations.

The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for the spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. I loved having a couch and fridge in the room, and the view of the pool area from the balcony was lovely. The staff were young and enthusiastic, always ready to assist us in finding a scooter rental and recommending local food shops.
All was fantastic, no improvements needed.

The hotel staff is very friendly, they will do everything for you to stay happy in the hotel. They arrange to rent a motorbike (cheap), trips, and even call the doctor. Unfortunately that was the best thing of Sunset hotel.
This hotel is just open too early, it is open since April 2011, but doesnt look like a new hotel to me. The construction is not finish yet. Too bad, as the hotel could be a very nice hotel. We have changed rooms three times. They give us a twin bed first, then a noisy room from traffic on the 2nd floor. And after that they give us a room on the 4th floor, which is ok. Internet connexion was not working....The hotel doesnt have a nice atmosphere at all.

I had a great time at this hotel in Bali. it offered great value for money, with affordable prices that didn't break the bank. Secondly, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to assist us in finding a scooter rental so we could explore the island. Additionally, the basic amenities were all provided, and the rooms were always kept very clean, with a nice balcony to relax on. Lastly, the breakfast was enjoyable, with a variety of fresh fruits served daily.
All was good, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and Legian beach, with easy access to both by low-priced taxi. the staff were kind in helping us find a scooter rental to move around the island. the rooms were spacious and clean with modern amenities like a fridge and safe, and the lap pool was lovely and well-maintained. the public areas were spotlessly clean and the staff were always available to provide great service. the hotel is situated close to a minimart and supermarket for convenient shopping.
The hotel is situated away from Kuta beach, which some visitors may prefer to be closer to.

Staff very co-operative, hotel clean but far from beach, lonely street, no restaurant and small snack shops close by. For shopping and who like beach better to stay near kutta beach. Someone looking for good and clean hotel but with budget price than can stay in this hotel as taxi will cost us$2 to go beach one way.
Away from beach/shopping/restaurant/Snack shop. Hotel don't have their vehicle to drop back and forth to beach. No Internet service in room only in restaurant.

The building is new, so it's quite nice. It would be a good 2 star hotel.
There was a kingdom of ants in our room when we arrived. The staff were unresponsive to any request. The building is new and the water smells like metal. At one point, a male housekeeper walked into the room without knocking when we were half naked. We tried to hold the door closed, but he opened it again and walked in. Naturally, he couldn't explain why he came into the room. He said something like, "routine check." The restaurant food was good, but way overpriced. The location isn't great and for a four star hotel it has no shuttle service. Most other 4 or 3 star places have a shuttle service to, for example, the beach.

This hotel is a real gem! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and modern, with a very comfortable bed. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, with plenty of sun loungers to choose from. Plus, the hotel's location is perfect, within easy walking distance to some great restaurants and shops, and only a short drive away from the city center. The free parking lot is also very convenient for those who choose to rent a car.
The breakfast selection was a bit limited and could benefit from more variety. the air conditioning unit in our room was a little noisy, which could potentially be a problem for light sleepers.

We went and did our market day shopping at kuta. I want to add how great the food was at the sunset, and although not happy with room and not having the pool to use, The lovely staff , great food at a fair price and the free wifi made it better.
The pool was Green and unable to use whilst we were there, they were refilling it the afternoon before we left.. The airconditioning wasnt working well, they did fix it, however still wasnt cold enough and made sleeping difficult. The mosquitos were in almost plague proportions, and after spraying they should resweep floors and not set tables till after. Dead mosquitos on your breakfast table and on the floor ruin the look. We were just staying at the sunset in between our resort stays.. They have a good amount of atrconditioning in diningroom, however they only turned 1 or 2 on.. They should turn all on and maintain a comfortable temp. I f they sort these few things I would stay again and recommend them to friends and family, also on my fb account ect..

The breakfast was good and staff was very professional and polite. The location of the hotel was also strategic as it was nearby the shopping area of Legian and Kuta beach. Definitely would come back to The Sunset Hotel again.
